Our service areas
We are centrally located in Monrovia, but can usually take care of any pet needs from Glendale to Pomona and everywhere in between. If you are outside our service areas or more than 10 miles away from Monrovia, we would charge a minimal additional mileage rate...$1.00/mile. Contact us for a quote*!

Dog Walking/Excercise



One dog for up to an hour $25 ($10 each additional dog from the same household, max. two dogs per dog walker). Full price for additional dog walkers needed.

For multi-dog households with dogs that cannot walk together, our rate is $20 per dog up to 45 mins. each walk.
Dog Park Visits: $25 per dog

Dog Walks or Dog Park Visits only: 3 or more times per week receives a special discount.

Well, soft dog beds, roasted dog treats while watching a dog movie, good sniffs,
play time with Bike, Tye, and Beans, and beautiful hikes.
Beach camping is the same but more wind, less bugs, and lots of water playtime!

Snow Days
1 dog *$35
($15 each additional dog from the same household)
A romp in the snow at the end of an hour ride...perfect for any high energy dog that loves to run and play.
Call us to schedule a half-day of frolic for your dog pal(s). (Approx. 3-4 hours)

Summer Beach Fun
$35 for a 3-4 hour trip to a local dog beach!
($15 each additional dog from the same household)
Includes a dry-off period with leave-on conditioner and brush out, and of course, lots of play time!
We'll provide safe transportation, towels, snacks, and plenty of H2O!

*Key pick/up and return: NO FEE if we pick it up during the initial consultation or a refresher consultation. NO FEE if we keep it in our safe. NO FEE if you pick it up or drop it off to one of us. $15 plus mileage ($1 per mile) if we drop it off or pick it up from you. Some clients will even purchase a lock box specifically for their petsitter. We strongly advise against leaving a key outside of your home for us to use, as well as using a third party as a hand-off--we will always make an effort to meet you face to face for key exchange, but ultimately, it is your decision and we will follow your instructions.

 

Neatness counts: Sometimes we arrive for a first visit and we find more than a few days worth of pet waste to clean up. Yes, we include basic litterbox and yard clean up, but if it is excessive, we can no longer include that in a regular visit. It is unfair to your pet(s) for us to use their cuddle or excercise time to clean these excessively dirty areas. We may find it necessary to schedule a visit twice as long as planned just to get things back on track. The reason for this is to avoid an unsanitary or dangerous situation for your pet(s). Ammonia found in cat urine can be dangerous and most cats require a clean "bathroom" to avoid inappropriate urination/defecation (on your bed, the carpet, the sink, etc.). For our canine friends, a clean yard is important because feces may contain parasites and attract flies, among other reasons. For small, exotic, or caged/penned pets, such as birds, hamsters, rabbits, etc., their habitats are directly related to their overall health. These sensitive and small friends should never sit in their waste or have bedding full of urine or feces. Urine scald, respiratory trouble, or other acute issues may arise in poor housing conditions.

For pet housing or waste areas kept in unsanitary conditions, where it causes us to spend extra time specifically devoted to cleaning these areas, we will charge $5 per area, per incident, payable within 5 days of your return. For example: a catbox full of urine & feces causing a cat to urinate in other areas of the house would create a fee minimum of $10. $5 extra for the litterbox and $5 for each area around the house outside of the litterbox the cat has gone to the bathroom. If we are unable to clean the litterbox because of hardened urine, we will replace the litterbox and add the cost of the replacement to the clean up fee (receipt provided)--same goes for running out of litter. For dog feces piled up in yards beyond what appears to be a normal amount for a day or two, we will charge $5 per 5 minutes of waste removal time.

This fee also includes any odor elimination sprays or tools we may find it necessary to utilize. If your pets are known to have inappropriate habits, please provide your sitter with detailed information for cleaning rugs, floors, furniture, etc. We will always use our best judgement to treat all surfaces with great care and concern.

 

Payments: Dog Walking clients each have your own payment schedules based on our agreed upon arangement (most are weekly on the last walking day). If you are invoiced, payment must be received within 5 days or there will be a $25 late fee. Petsitting clients, please review our Policies and Procedures and remember to leave payment for our first visit to avoid the $25 late fee. Checks need to be made out to Two Dogs Petsitting (not Paws, Pets, Walks, 2 Dogs or any of the other creative business names we've received lately). We don't mind, but the bank does.

 

Requests and confirmation: All petsitting requests or schedule changes should be made in writing--email: sitters@twodogspaws.com or jen@twodogspaws.com OR by using the Request a Petsitter or Dog Walker form. Confirmation can certainly be handled with a phone call or text (626.673.7978-Jen cell), but, if you prefer email, that's okay, too. We will accept any form of confirmation--we love speaking with you and hearing about what your pets have been up to.
